Knowing that the weather in both Chicago and NYC has been warmer than usual, it was a bit tricky to pack for fashion week knowing I wanted to embrace fall colors but it still felt like summer. I chose to stick with more neutral colors and had minimal layers for when we were walking around the city in the sunshine. My outfits came from mainly Nordstrom and Club Monaco and can I just add they have such great transition pieces right now! I have always been a Nordies girl because I worked there for a few years in college so regardless of loving the styles they offer, I am a loyal customer because I love what the company stands for.
With never ending adventures and candid moments in between for Meghan and I, my outfits are linked below during New York Fashion Week.
Day One: In True Plaid Fashion
What got me about this dress was the ruffles that went from one side to another. You usually don’t see ruffles with plaid because both are rather bold designs, but I thought the combination really complimented eachother and made the dress more fun! I paired it with a floppy hat and black knee high boots.

Day Two: Pretty in Pink, Club Monaco Style
I suppose I am a fan of anything pink and with a ruffle thrown in here and there. This top just looked like such great quality from afar when I saw it, so I had to snag it. I paired it with a pair of SUPER comfortable sweater pants- they are made of wool but I kid you not these pants feel like cozy sweats but look like you could wear them to any event with their high waisted fit and tie in the front. I am so excited to play around with the pants more as winter gets closer. Perfect to put with boots and a sweater!
Top: Club Monaco // Pants: Club Monaco // Boots: Aldo // Purse: Céline
Day Three: Beige in Brooklyn
I have always been a fan of two piece outfits and jumpsuits, so I was obsessed with this two piece when I saw it at Nordstrom. I thought it really was the perfect in between of summer into fall- its lighter material but the colors are great we we near October. You can also wear the pants with a different top and vice versa. I paired it with a black leather jacket and my tan pointed toe Sam Edelmans. I felt very LA with this outfit and had a lot of fun brunching with Meghan while hopping around to our jam packed day of shows!
