Hi guys! It’s been a minute since I’ve shared a blog post. Work and life is all moving at a million miles a minute, and I quickly forget to take an hour or so to write a post to share with you. As we are getting closer and closer to winter (knock on wood…) I wanted to share my favorite photo spots in Chicago that I think are perfect for fall and winter, including the spot from my latest Instagram post!
Harold Washington Library
Meghan showed me this hidden gem at Harold Washington Library! Head up to the top floor where the event space is and by the windows are beautiful marble hallways. Thanks Meg 😉.

Old Town
Not only are there the cutest boutiques in Old Town, there are the cutest walk ups nestled away right off of Wells. Grab a coffee and take a walk around the neighborhood. So many hidden treasures.
The Blackstone Hotel
After Ella stayed at Blackstone hotel, she said I HAD to go to check out the building’s architecture and decor.. and Ella was right! The building itself has so much history (think: Al Capone’s hot spot) and the plush interior combined with high ceilings and original woodwork was stunning.
Hero Coffee
This coffee spot was my go to when I went to DePaul, and it still hasn’t lost its charm. I love how Hero Coffee Bar is down a hidden alley off of Jackson. Twinkle lights and the perfect snow fall? Photo perfection.
Buckingham Fountain
Be warned it will most likely be chilly but I think Buckingham Fountain is one of the most underrated photo spots in Chicago. You get a perfect view of the skyline and peace and quiet away from the noise. I love posting up at a park bench and reflecting here- regardless of how cold it might be!
Z Bar Chicago
I have stopped in at Z Bar a few times and love their cocktails, small bites and V I E W S. And it’s super close to my apartment too! The views from Z Bar are amazing- right down the Mag Mile!
What other photo spots am I missing!? Check out my post from 3 Arts Club cafe for another photo idea!
XO.
