Now that I am back in Chicago, I can take a moment to appreciate the cozy spots the city has to offer. I personally love finding spots that have the perfect window overlooking the street while the snow falls and glistens on the sidewalk. From coffee to brunch to dinner to cocktails, there are so many cozy spots in Chicago that are perfect for any occasion. My top picks are shared below if you are looking for a change of scenery, a good cup of coffee or a well crafted cocktail.
I leave for New York in the morning so I hope you can stop by one of my top picks while I am gone! See you in a week Chicago, I miss you already <3.
Cafe Integral
Location: River North
A coffee shop with dark wood seating tucked away in the streets of River North. Cafe Integral is one of my favorite coffee spots in Chicago and is connected to the Freehand Hotel.
Maison Marcel
Location: Lakeview East
Stopping in at Maison Marcel makes me miss living in Lakeview so much! I love the white aesthetic and french artisan feel. This is the perfect spot to grab a small bite and coffee with a friend or two to catch up. Their avocado toast is so filling and their bread is made fresh everyday!
The Allis
Location: West Loop
One of my favorite spots to cozy up and read a book while sipping on a delicious cocktail for hours on end. I love going to the Allis for tea time especially, but it is a great work spot if you are looking for a work space that is easy on the eyes and a good people watching spot for breaks in between. The french onion soup and pizzas are a few of my favorite menu items for dinner, and their cosmo’s never disappoint.
Drumbar
Location: Streeterville
I love Drumbar during the summer for its quaint patio and live music. During the winter they have great inside seating perfect for a date night at a charming table for two or get together with friends and sit by what looks and feels like a library.
Sweater: Nordstrom Rack // Jeans: Nordstrom (TopShop) // Boots: Steve Madden
