Buried in Berry: Berry as a Fashion Statement Color

Berry shades have seemed to really pop this season and I love that it did (see what I did there?). Even in the summer I will still get OPI’s Miami Beet color because it is a classic and always looks good in my opinion.

Berry is the color of fall Berry is everywhere this fall

Beanie: Nordstrom // Sweater: Forever21 // Pants: Paige Denim // Boots: Via Spiga // Back Pack: TUMI

I found this Veiled Pom Beanie at Nordstrom (it’s 50% off now!) and I love wearing it on extra drab days.I lean towards wearing it with black but when I do,  it’s the happy medium between bold and classy. Black on black attire is pretty effortless so I decided to pair it with my beanie to give it some extra flare. If you have a colored beanie you want to show off, I would recommend wearing neutral colors and only wearing one statement piece because you don’t want to over do it. I imagine my veiled beanie with a chunky gold necklace and knee highs being a little too over the top- sometimes less is more.

So what’s next on my berry list? I have one too many open shoulder sweaters but always looking to add to my collection to sport during the weekday along with a new berry lip. See below for a few items I have been keeping an eye on:

Topshop’s Cold Shoulder Sweater

SheIn’s Cable Knit Sweater

Charlotte Tilbury’s Matte Revolution Lipstick

Target’s High Waisted Leggings
